What Is Round1?

Round1 is Japan's largest indoor entertainment complex chain — think bowling alleys, arcade floors, karaoke suites, billiards rooms, darts, and batting cages all under one roof. With over 100 locations across Japan and 59 in North America, it's a cultural institution in Japanese leisure. This is the first time Round1 has ever run a simultaneous One Piece collaboration across both regions.

During the event, customers ordering from the collaboration food menu at Japanese Round1 venues receive one randomly selected promo card from the pack. The cards are not sold, not chosen by the customer, and not restocked once the campaign ends on 17 October 2026.

About the Artwork

Rather than reprinting existing illustrations, Bandai commissioned an entirely new set of artwork for this collaboration. Each of the 10 Straw Hats is shown enjoying a different Round1 activity — Luffy bowls, Zoro bats, Nami plays billiards, Usopp throws darts, Sanji controls a football, Chopper hits the lanes, Robin plays basketball, Franky works the arcade, Brook takes the karaoke mic, and Jinbe serves at table tennis.

The result is one of the most cohesive and characterful promo sets the One Piece Card Game has ever produced. Every illustration fits the character it depicts — Brook at karaoke is an obvious choice, but Sanji at football and Zoro at baseball feel just as natural. The full set displayed together works as a complete piece.

Are these cards tournament legal? Yes — each card is an alternate-art version of an existing One Piece Card Game card. They retain the original card number and mechanics, so they are legal wherever the base card is. Luffy OP16-095, Zoro PRB02-006, and the rest play exactly as their standard counterparts.

Why These Are Difficult to Get Outside Japan

There are no box toppers, no online purchases, no retail listings. The only way to receive these cards in Japan is to visit a Round1 location, order from the collaboration menu, and hope your random pack contains the card you're after — with a cap of five coupons per person per day. For collectors outside Japan, that means relying entirely on importers who sourced stock during the event window.

Japanese allocation is the more desirable of the two versions — the Japanese print quality is superior, and the Japanese versions of exclusive promos consistently command a premium on the secondary market once supply dries up post-campaign.

Chase cards to know Luffy (OP16-095) is the headline pull and will likely hold the highest long-term value. Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and Sanji are expected to be the next tier. Brook is the dark horse of the set — he has fewer promo cards in circulation than any other Straw Hat, and the karaoke artwork is genuinely distinctive.
